CASA of the South Plains will host an informational session for prospective volunteers at The Grand 2nd floor conference room at 1215 Avenue J on Thursday, March 2nd from 12:00 p.m.to 1:00 p.m. This is a great, no-obligation introduction to CASA and its mission to provide abused and neglected foster kids with volunteer Advocates that can speak up for their well-being. Join CASA staff and current Advocates as they discuss what it means to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA, the increasing need for additional volunteers, and how community members can help make a difference in the lives of area foster. To sign up, please register by Wednesday, March 1st. Lunch will be provided to attendees.
